Propositions
Location: Prague, placement according to categories
Date: August 28 to 30, 2026. The tournament is scheduled to start on Friday morning.
Categories:
U11 (born from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2017)
U13 (born from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014)
The organizer reserves the right to grant exceptions to the rule in exceptional cases.
Number of teams: 8 to 16 teams in the tournament according to category and U13 groups.
Entry fee: 7,000 CZK or 290 €. The entry fee must be paid by July 15, 2026. In case of late payment, the team will be replaced by a team on the waiting list.
Balls: Provided by the organizer, official ball SSK GM
Referees: Provided by the organizer
Tournament system: We guarantee 4 games in a three-day system, 5 games in a four-day system. The specific system will be published by the organizers after the registration closes
Match rules:
U11 – the match is played for 90 minutes + extra innings or 6 innings. A difference of 10 points after 4 innings, 15 points after 3 innings, 20 points after 2 innings. The final is played for 6 innings without time limit.
U13 – the match is played for 90 minutes + extra innings or 7 innings. A difference of 10 points after 5 innings, 15 points after 4 innings, 20 points after 3 innings. The final is played for 7 innings without time limit.
Ending an inning: an inning is ended by 3 outs for the defensive team or 6 runs for the offensive team
Ending a match:
A) In case of the end of the entire inning and remaining time limit less than 5 minutes, a new inning will not be started
B) If the home team is leading and the time limit ends, the match is not completed
C) Ties in the tournament are not allowed
D) In case of a tie after the specified number of innings or at the end of the time limit, the tiebreaker rule according to the valid rules in ČBA comes into effect.
Pitches: The pitcher may finish pitching to a batter over the daily limit. The pitcher may only pitch in one game per day. Pitches over the daily limit will count towards the tournament limit. A pitcher who exceeds the daily limit, who is allowed to pitch the next day, may pitch the next day after finishing the batter. In the U11 and U13 categories, only "fastball" and "changeup" pitches are allowed. Other technical pitches will be declared as balls by the umpire. In the U15 category, there are no restrictions on technical pitches.
U11
Tournament limit 130 pitches
Daily limit 80 pitches
20 pitches, the pitcher may pitch the next day
30 pitches, the pitcher must have one day of rest.
45 pitches, the pitcher must have two days of rest.
U13
Tournament limit 140 pitches
Daily limit 90 pitches
25 pitches, the pitcher may pitch the next day
35 pitches, the pitcher must have one day of rest.
50 pitches, the pitcher must have two days of rest.
Catchers: A catcher cannot take the position of a pitcher if they have already played as a catcher in the game. A pitcher cannot take the position of a catcher if they have already played as a pitcher in the game.
Bats: The same restrictions apply for U11 and U13 categories as in tournaments organized by ČBA. Only for the U15 category are big barrels allowed.
Third strike: According to the valid Czech rules, the third strike does not mean an automatic out and a forced out must be played if first base is not occupied with less than 2 outs.
Accommodation: The organizers will send a list of partner hotels upon request and will help facilitate accommodation.
Food: The organizers will help provide food for registered teams.
Registration deadline: July 1, 2026 or until tournament capacity is filled
Awards and announcements: The winner of each tournament will receive a traveling trophy, which will be loaned to them until the next tournament year. The best batter, pitcher, and MVP of each tournament will be awarded an individual prize. The ceremonial announcement is mandatory for the tournament semifinalists. We would be very happy if others also participate.
